Hera   10 #1 Posted January 22, 2017 The comp I am borrowing , had , according to the free ASC 10.1 programme 31,000 Privacy Issues !! which it removed . Just logging in to Sheffor produced 258 : what is it all about and does it matter ? The new comp will have multiple USBs but no 24 hole socket for my HP printer : any adaptors available or is it to be a new printer ? gillybear   10 #2 Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) If the printer uses the Parallel port then yes there are adaptors or buy a parallel card and install it. Don't know about SCSI  Don't believe the ASC program, it's just trying to make you buy the full version. A cookie is a Privacy Issue but there is no danger from it.  To be secure for free use...  A decent Anti-Virus, i use Avast, but there are plenty of others out there. Malwarebytes, Almost everyone will recommend it's use Ccleaner, to get rid of those unwanted files I also do an ocassional scan with Superantispyware Edited January 22, 2017 by gillybear
 Share this content via...
