yodan4 Â Â 10 #3 Posted January 20, 2017 I'm trying to improve the SEO rankings of my site, but the SEO feedback rating is telling me that I'm missing H2 subheading tags in the copy ? The page title contains the keyword/phrase, but it does not appear at the beginning ? The keyword/phrase does not appear in the URL for this page ? The list goes on. Any help would be much appreciated.
 Share this content via...
Lastnet IT Â Â 10 #4 Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) I'm trying to improve the SEO rankings of my site, but the SEO feedback rating is telling me that I'm missing H2 subheading tags in the copy ? Â Do you know what H2 tags are? See here and here. A common mistake is using "font size" to increase text size, or just using bold text as a subheading (looks fine on the page, but search engines won't appreciate the importance of the text). Â If you don't like how a heading tag looks, you can change its appearance in your CSS (but note: you should be using H1, H2, H3, etc in order of importance). Â The page title contains the keyword/phrase, but it does not appear at the beginning ? Â You want your keyword in the title, and it should be fairly prominent i.e. (lets suppose your keyword is "KEYWORD"): "KEYWORD placement: how putting the keyword at the start improves SEO ranking" (there's nothing wrong with having the keyword in your title twice btw) as opposed to something like "These SEO tips will show you the ideal placement of your KEYWORD". Â The keyword/phrase does not appear in the URL for this page ? Â See where it says "permalink"? (top of the page). Click that, and give the page a customer URL, and include your keyword in the address you assign it.
