The Golden Ball is pretty good.

Golden Ball is ok for average pub grub. Never had anything bad in there

For that many I'd just go to the Brecks Beefeater. Nothing fancy but you can't go wrong really.

The Robin Hood up the road in Aughton is supposed to be good

Brecks has gone down the hill since it was done up the other month

Checkers is a decent pub to eat at

Chequers is a awful clicky pub. The women owners look down on people and slap them off behind theit back. They also have a slim for a DJ

Golden Ball at Whiston have descent beer also.
