Why aren't men frightened of mice & spiders?

We women hate them, (the mice & spiders that is), so why don't men?

Thank goodness for cats and men, to catch them.

Speak for yourself poppet2. I'm a woman and I like spiders (to the point that I used to keep tarantulas) and I'm a bit ambivalent to mice but I certainly don't hate them!

Not everybody can turn them to stone by looking at them.

I don't mind mice at all (or even rats) but I can't stand (large) house spiders.

I do however take after my mother (who is terrified of them) so perhaps that's why.

Isn't that male trait related to the female trait of not being able to leave anything in one place for longer than 2 weeks?

My other half runs out of the room screaming like a girl when he sees a spider, no matter how big. I love spiders and I'm the one to put them outside

I don't mind either of them. In fact I quite like mice and don't mind 'catching' spiders in a glass and putting them outside!

They can't hurt you....you most be joking. Spiders will kill you and everyone you care about given half a chance.
