lafemme51 Â Â 10 #1 Posted July 16, 2012 Is anyone familiar with Fagor washing machines. I am getting error code F8 and all it says in handbook is seek technical assistance. Â If someone is a washing machine repair specialist I would obviously pay to have this fixed but would appreciate for now just knowing what the actual error code means. Â On Google I have seen something about brushes and the motor, then someone else said clean filter and turn it off 20 mins but I get a separate error message when the filter needs cleaning. Â Thanks
 Share this content via...

lafemme51 Â Â 10 #5 Posted July 16, 2012 Ok thanks everyone. Â It might just be around 5 years so I will check when I get home. Â It's not coming on at all. Â I will check my invoices and then ring Fagor.
 Share this content via...

Wotcha   10 #7 Posted December 3, 2012 Speleo is absolutely 'bob on'. To try a quick fix, disconnect the appliance from all services and lay it on its side. You don't need to take the back off for this. At the spindle of the motor you will see the offending bushes disconnect the cables and unscrew the single screw in each bush and remove. Now if you're lucky the carbon bush may have worn and jammed in its housing, push the carbon rod in and out gently and blow away any dust, when moving freely simply reinstall. Now connect back up and you may be good for another 6 months.
 Share this content via...

Mikes10 Â Â 10 #10 Posted December 4, 2012 This reply has nothing to do with helping you solve your washer problem however... Â In the early 1980s Radio-4 broadcast a Sci-Fi series called 'Earthsearch' in a couple of episodes there was a crazy android called 'Fagor' hell bent on destroying everyone and everything. Just thought I'd throw it in. Â The series is sometimes repeated on Radio-4 extra.
 Share this content via...
