It's reported that Allan Holdsworth has died at the age of 70. One of the most instantly recognisable guitar styles, and one of the most influential guitarists.

Only just learned of his passing visiting Level42.com whilst listening to 'Kansas City Milkman' - learned from Wiki' that he was guest guitarist for Level42 on their 1990 Hammersmith Odeon gigs covering for another deceased guitarist Alan Murphy - Allan Holdsworth was his hero.

 

R.I.P. Allan Holdsworth - our thoughts are with his family and friends.

 

PS can Moderators please amend this thread with the correct spelling of Allan's name by inserting the missing letter?

Very sad saw him a couple of times in the 90's loved his Metal Fatigue Album RIP
