BBC Sports Personality of Year

Forgone conclusion Andy Murray will win but how come Chris Frome is not included in list.

His sporting achievements far outstrip most of the others on the list.

I'm struggling to find more than 6 of them who deserve to be on,Murray,Adams,Mo,Brownhill,Kenny and Whitlock,thats about it for me.

There are only a couple of actual personalities.....Murray is lacking one imho.

Chris Froome who has won the hardest sporting event on Earth along with an Olympic medal and second place in the Vuelta a Espania has not even been nominated for sports most prestigious T.V. extravaganza.

Many less sporting achievements are being recognised but Chris has been ignored .

That's quite a good article about it. They raise interesting points about what happens in Olympic years, World Cup years, etc, etc.

Probably because he's known to have taken banned drugs to improve his performance.

Read and understand the quoted article, nothing to do with Frome doing anything wrong or taking drugs illegally.

I can't believe anyone could think of voting for anyone other than Ali Brownlee. His achievement in being the only person to ever get back to back golds in triathlon and doing it all just outside pro cycling and WR 10k pace is unparallelled.
