silentP Â Â 10 #25 Posted April 24, 2017 Well this one is a real devil and soo thick skinned, doesn't he know how much the people hate him? Â Youd think so wouldn't you. You could always tweet him a link to the forum.
 Share this content via...
ANGELFIRE1 Â Â 10 #26 Posted April 24, 2017 Please please come back into politics Townie Blair you are really needed. Your presence will surely be the end of the LIEbour Party as we know it, and it will guarantee a Tory landslide. Hard to say as a UKipper, but my loathing of Bliar transcends all. Â Angel1. Mister M   1,609 #27 Posted April 24, 2017 Net migration was higher from 2013 on-wards, than the Blair years, a lot higher. https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/statistics-net-migration-statistics  ---------- Post added 23-04-2017 at 19:27 ----------   You get fooled by the media.  Sssh! You're not allowed to mention that. Especially since the person responsible at the Home Office during that time was.... er...the name seems to escape me. alchresearch   214 #28 Posted April 24, 2017 On the radio news yesterday they played a clip of him being interviewed. He said something about the current Labour party "not listening to the people".  Hmmm, wonder if he remembers the ID card scheme he was planning to bring in.  June 2003: The results of the public consultation are in and the Home Office admits that more than 5,000 of the 7,000 responses were against the scheme.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10164331
 Share this content via...
Anna B Â Â 1,401 #29 Posted April 24, 2017 Well this one is a real devil and soo thick skinned, doesn't he know how much the people hate him? Â Apparently not. Â But isn't this the failing of many politicians - so out of touch with the general electorate and what's going on? That's also the reason the polls have been all over the place lately and keep getting it so wrong. That's worrying in itself... davyboy   18 #30 Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) Bliar vows to fight Brexit and will return to politics and says he will get his hands dirty.  As if they aren't dirty enough! area 51 Â Â 10 #31 Posted May 1, 2017 I have just watched the interview on sky and he did admit that Theresa May was going to win the election. He must think he can put some pressure on May to make her change her thinking on the single market.I was surprised at his squirming when asked if he would tell people to vote for Corbyn.I really do not see what influence he thinks he can have on brexit discussions. alchresearch   214 #32 Posted May 2, 2017 Bliar vows to fight Brexit and will return to politics and says he will get his hands dirty.  Maybe the dirt will cover the blood on them?  personally, I welcome him back now that he's succeeded in his role as Middle East Peace envoy and its a stable peaceful place!  https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/may/27/tony-blair-resigns-as-middle-east-peace-envoy-report
 Share this content via...
Yorkshire 53 Â Â 10 #33 Posted May 2, 2017 He appears extremely mentally troubled, and should be. Hopefully the 'Cognitive Dissonance' will fry his brain and he'll end up in a straight jacket instead of the end he surely deserves; the same end he and the rest of the 'democrats' gloated over with Saddam's hanging and Gadaffi's ripping apart. Berberis   10 #34 Posted May 2, 2017 But Blair's 'New Labour' seemed to drop the socialist claim, hence the name. The renaming allowed him to collect the middle class vote, which is what Labour needed to win a majority.  It was his ability to connect with women voters that led them to victory and I dont mean in a vein sense. He managed to encourage women to go out and vote. Corbyn for all his virtues just does not encourage many to vote and this is how you win/lose elections. People don't generally switch sides during an election campaign, it's about who feels compelled to get out and vote and those who do not. mancmart   10 #35 Posted May 3, 2017 Quite simple. Forget Blair, he's yesterday's politician. Get rid of the Tories and vote for Corbyn. He may not have the sleek looks of the politicians we have come to know, (Blair etc.) but he's honest and principled.
 Share this content via...
