Went last night and there was a police notice saying they had closed it down not sure what's going on.

Walkabout on Caver street has been served with a closure notice over the weekend and syp are applying today to extend the closure. What's peoples thoughts on it. Full article online but full details of the reason why are a bit sketchy at the minute

if its been closed due to people causing trouble, aren't there plenty of other pubs/bars in the area they will go and cause trouble in instead?

Serious assault on Saturday night. 1 critical in hospital, 1 arrested and released on bail....

Sounds like cctv and management issues as well.

 

Have noticed it seems to run on very low staff numbers for a place of that size.

it seems the morons who run places like this (or the Common Room ) are too bothered about people wearing caps in their establishment, and can't deal with 'genuine' troublemakers

Just been in really busy loads of football fans live game on and no security anywhere after what happened, even a lot of the quieter pubs have security today.
