If you used that standard most interviewers would get the boot The bbc, c4,cnn,fox,rt and loads more would have no interviewers.

Do you ever listen to a decent BBC radio station in the morning or just the garbage that Toby Foster puts out. He is not a legitimate trained broadcaster that panders to the hoards of listeners with a lower intellect. A good interviewer can put both sides of the argument without it sounding personal T F cannot. A good interviewer does not shout down the interviewee like T F does so excuse me when I say, if he has gone hooray

Do you mean like Rony Robinson who 'does not shout down the interviewee'; just cuts them off if they attempt to put forward a different opinion to that taken by Mr Robinson

I quite like the bloke who's been covering for Rony for last week.

Roney is one of the best broadcasters in the business, he really understands people.

So, the rumour at work this morning is that Toby Foster has left radio sheffield to stand as Labour MP for Barnsley now that Michael Dugher has stood down.

It makes sense, he's been off work for a month, and was tweeting that he was in London this week. What do you make to it? Two Points

1• Could he keep the radio job or would it be too much? George Osbourne edits a newspaper as well as being MP.

2• Do you think he'd be any good? He's a sensible bloke, I'd certainly vote for him.
