MCVD1867 Â Â 10 #31 Posted April 10, 2017 Bringing this one back from the dead - we just viewed a house on this development (not brand new; someone who bought one 18 months ago and is now selling). Wondered if there are any other experiences to share as obviously the above is not great.....
 Share this content via...
Manzi   10 #32 Posted April 10, 2017 we've had leaks from roof and tacky window vents. Kier are just crap to deal with. in general quality of everything could have been better but not massive issue.  only good thing that's happening now is the roads are getting block paved. gives the area a fresh and more finished look. MCVD1867 Â Â 10 #33 Posted April 10, 2017 Thanks Manzi, much appreciated. Has the Internet situation improved as sounds like it was poor back then? Also have you had any issues with the plumbing as someone else mentioned? Â Really liked the house and street, but was already wary of new builds having lived in one a few years ago that sounded eerily similar to much of what's been described in this thread. Manzi   10 #34 Posted April 10, 2017 One of the fellow neighbours had issues with plumbing. due to people flushing wet wipes. that has been sorted but at a heavy cost of new resident as they had just moved in. sewage water came flushing back the wrong way to briefly describe it.  internet seems to be better though. another neighbour has the bt broadband that supposedly is good up to 250m; however walls reduce signal so connection at third floor is bit sketchy.  i don't have a house as big as theirs.
