In the R'n'R Hall Of Fame, at last

Recommended Posts

Well it took 46 years but Jeff Lynne and his Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) were finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last Friday by George Harrison's son Dhanni. Nice to see Roy Wood there, even though he left to do The Wizard thing after the first 2 albums, the concept was his idea.

A hearty congratulations to one of my favourite musicians, Jeff Lynne. This was long overdue.

Agreed. I think The Move and The Jam are the two finest 'singles' bands this country has produced. Lynne's work demands international recognition as a Major Player (even if the Americans only got into ELO after their best work was years behind them; 'Eldorado' and 'A New World Record').
