The council have recently granted Costa Coffee permission to open in Broomhill, what do you think?

That's a lot of coffee in Broomhill! I live in Woodhouse where we have nothing even closely resembling a coffee shop. I wonder why.

Great news- should help lift an otherwise tatty shopping area and they serve good coffee & food. They always do a good job of their fit out. They are combining three shops opposite Cream cafe on Fulwood Rd

I found it,

On a Roll, Shake Club and Scott's Hairdressing, 3 units on the opposite side of Cream will be knocked together.

What was the Pink Panther restaurant? I'll ask my husband if he remembers that one...

 

I was too young to eat there in the mid seventies but it was 'posh' (was it French?) and I remember the plastic pink panther attached to the shop front beside the door.

Where Balti King is now, IIRC.

 

I think their panther got pinched at one point (maybe Rag week?)
