I was born on Stanground Road on the Manor in 1955, recently I had a look on Google Maps but I couldn't find it, just wondered where it's gone?? Â Standground Road was on lower Manor, all of the manor estate was demolished about 30 years ago, something to do with the eroding mortar between the bricks no being safe. Johnny P Â Â 10 #7 Posted May 15, 2017 Thanks Yorkshire75 I was born there but we moved to Stonecliffe Road on Manor Park, we lived at 122 but our Grandma lived at the other end near Harborough Avenue, then she moved to Queen Marys Road (the one at the side of St Theresa Catholic Church). When I looked on Google I noticed that the places my Grandma had lived were all knocked down even The Circle, they had a house there as well. Â ---------- Post added 15-05-2017 at 14:37 ---------- Â Hi Alan, my Family were at number 27 in the 50s, I was born there in 55 but we moved in 56.
