Start Off-Road (driving experience for kids)

Recommended Posts

I’ve been looking for some ideas for DS’s 12th birthday and I’ve seen an advertisement today for “Start Off-Road” which gives young people aged 11 – 17 experience of driving a Range Rover Evoque automatic for 30, 60 or 90 minutes according to the package chosen.

Has anyone tried this? Is it worth the price and travelling? It is available at six places in England but the closest one is in Leicestershire (about 65 miles from home). I don’t want to fork out £80 and travel for hours only to find that I’ve paid for 55 minutes of safety talk and 5 minutes of driving.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience of Start Off-Road – or knows someone who has!
