Religious Door to door knocking

Has Anyone experienced Muslim door knockers, i ask because my sister says she opened her door to one last week. I didn't think they did this.

I've certainly never seen them. I've had various branches of Christianity, but not Muslims.

I've also never seen Muslim protests, or any Muslims trying to institute Sharia Law, despite what UKIP tell people.

I thought all the god botherers were Jehovah's witnesses???

Really limited info here, why did they knock on the door? Could well be they are trying to organise a charitable event in the area and want people to know about it?

On the estate I live on In Chapeltown we were plagued by door knockers usual things new window, drives, hedge cutting and Jehovah witnesses we had until the council replaced the lamp posts official notices put up saying this was a no cold calling estate and anyone who did cold call could be reported to the council, now the notices have gone and councillor Zoe Sykes is lobbing to have them returned, Zoe.Sykes@sheffield.gov.uk, perhaps if you contact her she could have the signs put up where you are.

Yes we had one this Saturday (13th) in S12. A pleasant younger chap who seemed fairly genuine and was pressing a message of peace and tolerance. He left two leaflets "Islam's response to extremism" and "Loyalty, Freedom, Equality, Respect, Peace". I thought him quite brave to deliver his message in an almost exclusively white area. Of course his message was completely at odds with me being defined as a Kafir by his main book and therefore to be killed on sight again according to his book! I'm all for immigration based on merit and am not racialist at all, but I also believe strongly in integration, which sort of precludes his type, as true believers simply will not integrate into our society at all.

You do realise that the bible told people to kill those of other faiths? In fact one of the ten commandments is that 'thou shall have no other god', and that the punishment for this is generally considered to be genocide, if you're getting all 'old testament' on people?

There is no issue, at all, with the muslim faith. There is a problem with extremist lunatics, but that's the same for any religion. Christianity is far from whiter than white in terms of crusades!

Sounds like segregation behind a gated community would suit you best.
