Best championship manager ever??

Who do you think is the best manager to have managed in the 2nd tier of English football?

Is it Warnock? For getting teams promoted without spending Stupid? Keeping doomed teams up? ie.Rotherham

Whats your views?

Maybe Gary Monk as an example

92/93 ... one of the first championship managers and was a great game.

Warnock, Holloway ... Id like to argue Dyche here but with him taking Burnley up twice he hasn't spent as long as others managing at this level. I guess there are a few "championship managers" that may have only spent a few seasons due to success rather than the stalwarts who keep teams in it.

Id plump for Mick McCarthy though. Promoted with 2 different teams from Championship , kept Ipswich up the season he joined and finished a credible 7th last season against teams with way bigger budgets

I can't agree as he didn't spend much time in that league.

Warnock has to be there, a manager for that level and fantastic at what he does.
