Santa express train was rather good. Anybody else been on it?

I caught a train earlier. The Huddersfield - Sheffield one it was.

It was, THE SANTA EXPRESS.

There was a sign on the front saying this, tinsel on the bars etc. in the train, the conductors dressed as elf's, a Santa and an old bloke in a waistcoat. There were some balloons too and Xmas music being played.

They were giving out free sherry for the adults, and selection boxes for the children, along with mince pies for all.

It was really good and everyone was enjoying it, all smiling, joking and laughing.

Has anybody else been on this?

Was it a normal train done up as a santa express, or a special one?

she says it was a normal looking train just with decorations up on the inside

I wonder if they are running these again this year?

Might be going to Huddersfield soon, so can update, but if anybody else hops on one, could you say whether or not they do...
