Selling Car..tax or no tax?

I am selling my car, I declared it off the road last month and kept it on my drive as I have a new car. I am now selling it, is it better to have tax on it or does it not make a difference?

You can't sell it with tax on now....the new owner will have to do that bit..the rules changed last year..

I think I read somewhere that the tax is no longer transferable between owners, and that the new owners would have to tax the vehicle themselves. I don't know when this new law comes into effect, but might be worth checking the DVLA website. Aid that the case, let the new owner tax it.

Oh Right, well that saves my a bit of money then
