Have you noticed the Cherry Blossom this year?

Recommended Posts

It's suppose to be the best its been for 10 years, it's absolutely beautiful this year.

They say Cherry blossom is like youth, beautiful, yet brief.

Are there any tree-lined streets near you?

The ones in the peace gardens were amazing the other week, past their best now though

When the blossom falls it's like confetti.

Beautiful, but the blossom never lasts long enough.

There's a road just near my house which is a lovely sight this time of year.

Simply delightful.

The lovely Carol Kirkwood was saying on BBC Breakfast this morning, that the blossom's so good this year because of the warm, sunny days and the cold nights we've been having.

Hollins Lane and Goodison Crescent/Rise at Stannington. I think some trees have been cut down on Hollins Lane though. Don't know if cherry blossom trees have been felled (hope not!)

Yes and not just cherry; forsythia and magnolia trees are really gorgeous this year too.

I suggest everyone take some photos this year, since we are being told it's the best they look for 10 years.
