My missus loved dollhouse, I'd like to see more Start Trek, loved the originals but TNG & Voyager both excellent. I also hate it, as said when you get into a series & then wait for next series only to find out axed.

I sometimes see an repeat of an old programme i used to enjoy and think whatever did you see in that.
I do think our taste changes as we get older, though many of the old comedy series i used to love have been repeated, and i never get tired of seeing Fawlty Towers and Only Fools and Horses, they're isn't enough good comedy on TV now.

The funny thing is, it was Eddie (The white guy) who got most of the stick, yet it was taken off air due to it causing offence to the ethnic population!

The great thing about Fawlty was that they stopped after 12 episodes, on an absolute high.
I saw John Cleese live on tour last year, he told about how the episodes always overran by a few minutes. So they shortened a lot of the beginning and ending of individual camera shots, especially during Basil's outbursts.
Look closely and you'll notice just how frantically edited the show is. Which is of course completely in keeping with the spirit of the comedy.

True, Buffy ended well. Angle on the other hand I recall being somewhat underwhelmed with the ending.

I assume it was taken off air because of some professional complainers moaning that it wasnt "politically Correct".
The solution is simple ................. if someone dosnt like a TV program ,they should pick up the remote and turn it off, not whinge to the powers that be and spoil the viewing for the rest of us who have a sense of humour.

They HAVE brought back the A-Team. As a film, two years ago. Maybe you heard about it
I found the film quite entertaining actually, but they might as well have given the characters different names. It had very little to do with the show so many of us loved to grow up with.
Married with Children, now that was a sitcom and a half. The best ever portrayal of American society's underbelly. The Simpsons were sugar-coated by comparison.

Husband = Sweeney, Hill St Blues, Taxi, Rising damp, Streets of San Francisco.
Me = Swap Shop, Phoenix Nights, Dads Army, Gavin and Stacey, Blakes 7, Star Trek (the proper version, none of this new malarkey!), Morse, Bergerac.
Most of the stuff I like is still on Tv....e.g. Corrie, Emmerdale, Ab Fab, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Upstairs Downstairs ( I know, I know i mean the repeats! I'm 48 not 90 :-), ...................

Have to agree. Such a shame that people these days have forgotten how to laugh at themselves. This was such a classic that unfortunately will never get the chance of being aired on the TV ever again.

Yep I agree also another 2 things that wouldn't get on; Freddy Star did a footy match with Ray Charles, & Ironside in net & lots of others it was brilliant, put a link on , its hilarious, and Harry Enfield did one I think it was Liverpool 1991 v Arsenal from 30's classic
