Green and Boss, thanks so much for your lovely offer. Am just checking which are still available. Def all from the litter born 17 May, 2 white and black, 2 browny/grey tabbies, but no idea of gender. They won't be able to leave their mum for a few weeks but it would be lovely if serious reservations could be made. Mum will be going into foster soon with her kits. As soon as this is arranged, can I get back to you? Thank you.

Maybe...

Also people see it as a way to make money, and when they realise they can't (too late as they have already allowed the female to get pregnant) they dump her...
I don't know of any vets that would offer that advice, there are still a few that think bitches should have a season before spaying.
I have some very lengthy conversations about neutering with clients and the top and bottom is, lots don't want to know. After the over population talk, the pitfalls of breeding, the pyo chat, they still say awww but they are so lovely, I think I will just let her have 1 litter (ARRRRGGGHHHH ) And don't get me started on the men who won't have their male animals castrated because it will make them less of a man! and yes I mean the client not the animal!!!!

Going a bit off topic here, but in response to Berlingo's post highlighting the general complacency regarding the importance of spaying/neutering your animals.....Does anyone remember many years ago that RSPCA poster which featured an image of the heaps of dead dogs representing the number of animals that had to be destroyed in one month because no homes could be found for them? It was a stark image, but one that stuck with me for years after. I know big organisations steer away from gutsy images these days..but it worked on me & my peers.
I just wonder if people knew the true numbers involved of unwanted animals being euthanased each month & having it visualised in stark reality wether this would make people stop & think before they let their animals breed.
Sometimes in this pc correct world only distressing reality can wake people up to the horrible truth of so many animals facing nothing but a short & cruel existence. Those monthly numbers of lost lives will have tripled in size by now. Does anyone even know the true figures?
There will always be those who will continue to breed for profit & the lure of the filthy lucre will win every time....but if only just a few poorly informed folk would get the spay/neuter message it could make a difference.

Hey Magsie, I have an attic and have had mums and kits before. Let me know if you need the space, although I am on holiday for 10 days from the 10th July.

Is there any female tabbies still available? My sisters got a loving home waiting for her, who do we need to contact?

Magsie always looking for good homes for the rescue cats / kits, she was telling me only the other day about a tabby in rescue. If you E Mail her on info@rainrescuecats.co.uk telling her what you are looking for and your phone number she will get straight back to you.
Thank you for thinking of us - so many out there looking for a loving home and Magsie will find the perfect companion to any loving home - Nix

One more kit has been rehomed, leaving two kits and mum to rehome. Young mum is a white and black tabby, is friendly and is due to be spayed next week.

The two remaining kits are still nervous, but like their little siblings, will soon come round in a home environment with love and patience.

They are in foster at Wath on Dearne. They really need their forever home now, they deserve one. Mum has gone through it, several litters at such a young age.
