has anyone had a meal in the shoulder of mutton since it has re-opened in early December.

We are going to try it but just wondered if anyone had tried it already.

Near my house, its ok just general pub grub. Not in the same league as the Plough at Low Bradfield and also the Horns at Upper Bradfield is now way better than it was.

Hi Everyone....Tried the shoulder ofMutton (worrall) after reading 5 star review in the sheffield star....Have to say it was utterly fantastic, i've been twice now and the new owner even remembered my name. Loads of good offers on throughout the week. It was packed so had to wait a little while so next time we'll book.
The steaks are amazing I'm going to try the sunday lunch next.
Well deserved 5* friendly welcoming, clean & comfortable, super food. Not many of these places around.[URL="http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/eating-out-sisters-shoulder-to-shoulder-1-4742230"

We recently went here for Sunday lunch - I had the beef which I thought was a bit tough but my boyfriend had the chicken which he said was fantastic.

You do get plenty of food and the staff are very attentive, asking if you're ok and bringing drinks to your table (if you start a tab at the bar when you arrive).

Best to book on a Sunday as it gets busy from 12.30 onwards!

We went yesterday on Friday the 16th November and the food was superb all eight of us enjoyed the meals with no complaints at all, this was the first of many visits to come.I have no connection with the pub apart from being a very satisfied customer.

I believe they sell Farmer's Blonde. The food is better than what one would expect in a pub.

I know the girls' father, Norman from his time at The Fulwood Inn. They are a lovely family and deserve their success.

Went last Sat night, pub and service good, but food poor.
£9 plus for Fish and Chips fish batter soggy small portion
Toad in the Hole £8 plus 2 individual York Puds (1 slightly burnt) with 2 sausages on top. (we were taken by friends so could not do much at the time)
Have heard other good reports so may try again
