I have six pine doors I need stripping. Can anyone recommend anyone in Sheffield or surrounding area. Do they do a pickup service and any rough idea on price?

Hiya. Some friends of mine got theirs done by chap on Sharrowvale Road, and they looked very good, I'm going to get mine done, I think he will come and collect them and roughly about £20 per door.

He is class, he has done our doors at our current house and our old house, will dip anything - he did our old stair bannister.

I used Dip N Strip in Leeds. They have a van round in this area. I think it is Saturday. They collect one week drop back the next. I think it was about £7 per door when I had them done. They did a pretty good job considering the amount of paint. Just be aware that it does alter the wood and colours might change.
