Hi i am after some info/advice anything really from some peopple in the know.
I trained as a pastry chef and want to use my skills to go into business.

I was thinking of either findind a business partner and jumping in feet first in this venture (worried to much overheads in this dy and age) or just working from home. I am finding the prospect of working from home better at the moment due to just having a baby and id like to build up a client base first.

I already make special occasion cakes and chocolate truffles for weddings and parties every now and again for friends and family outside of my normal work, but i was wondering how would you start to go about finding customers when you work from home.

I am building up a basic website at the moment just to showcase what i do and i am thinking about advertising on here. I also am looking into business cards but aside from that i am at a blank. I think if i could perhaps have an online store specialising in something that would be even better but i dont know where i could find wholesale sugarcraft items in small qualities so i can build up.

Any advice would be great.
