Who are your favorate Actors/Actresess that the media seem to forget about?

Ones with outstounding acting abilities or ones you just like...

I really like Milla Jovovich, for both her acting and well... everything else
However, she keeps getting really shoddy roles that do nothing for her acting skills.

Paul Bettany - excellent in A Beautiful Mind

James McAvoy - although he's destined for big things in the near future.

I like Jill Halfpenny. I think she is very attractive and comes accross as a nice and genuine person. Still, I don't know her personally so she might be horrible in real life.

Oooooh Edna, we DO have the same taste in men!

First Preston, now Paul Bettany and James McAvoy - this is getting silly!

What do you think of John Simm, by the way?

And Steven MacIntosh.....

MM John Sim not bad, but not keen on the Steven MacIntosh.

For me, I then go down the Welsh men route - Steve Jones, Kelly Jones.

Or Quasimodo.

I do Sparkle.

Perhaps we should go on a stalk the Welsh musician weekend? I'll bring the leeks and you can go pick the daffys.

heard "my guy" on the radio this morning-which automatically changes to "my god" in my head due to sister act. I luuuuuuuurve Whoopi Goldberg

She utterly rocks She usually plays slightly melodramatic characters (sister act/ghost etc) but she is also great at straight characters-she is great in girl interupted. I don't know what it is I just love her!

Not forgetting her role as the bartender in Star Trek, llamatron. But would you really say Whoopi Goldberg is underated? I hear her personal wealth is around $45million. I'd love to be underated that much.

Ah remember Guinan, but for me Pete Postlethwaite was most underrated (RIP), as is Jim Broadbent.

Agree about Pete and Jim and would add Timothy Spall.

He was on The Professionals this morning on ITV4!

All the AufPet guys regard Timothy Spall as being by far the best actor amongst them.

That's a good shout that, he's dry as well, his portrayal of Pierrepoint
was great, but he'll always be Barry.

Great range: from the slimy Beadle Bamford in "Sweeney Todd", to the velvet voice of Wickes DIY.
