Did you ever get anywhere with this? Some of us are just discussing how nice it would be to have a sort of bird spotting thread and I wondered if it could have been part of a wildlife group.

If this group is ever in the pipeline I would be happy to be one of the group leaders for it, alongside the pet group.
I would use a wild life group too, I think it would be brilliant

I don't honestly know Firparnian, I don't think that there are plans to make any new groups at the moment but I promise that I will speak to admin about it...but don't get your hopes to high, that doesn't mean that it will happen I have no control over these things...we will see

As it seems you are unable to discuss the formation of a new group without resorting to insults and bickering it hardly bodes well for such a group does it?

If i have to remove more bickering and insults then i will close this thread permanently

I'll join if Danny does, although I'm member of RSPB he knows far more about ornithology than I do

Would still like one. Especially since the 'rare bird' thread disappeared, taking all the genuine interesting posts away along with the rubbish.

I would be interested too, wildlife is something that I find interesting and feel more should be done about as well.

Well, according to "Danny" on The Sheffield Peregrine's FB page there will be a wildlife group on SF and he has been chosen to be group leader, albeit under a different name.

In other news pigs fly and politicians tell the truth.
