In reality, sponsoring a local football team is purely philanthropic and the sponsor can expect to see little or no return from their investment. Usually you would get local people with connections to the team, i.e. friends, players etc. I would say it would be rare for a total stranger to sponsor a team in this manner. I may be wrong though and wish you luck.

Not sure your right there m8 to be honest , it depends on the firm/shop sponsoring you.
and the bonus is the P.R of it for the firm , it makes the shop/firm good in ppls eyes . It is hardwork finding a sponsor for any sat or sunday team . but in the long run it helps both the team out and the firm/shop in my opinion
