jessie baston made me stand in the hall for hours when she caught me and others in the girls toilets smoking and after i told her it was "steam"

yes older dont know about wiser but i still remember you all, what was nice when i stumbled upon this forum was the nice things that was said about my brother,glad yo all still have those memorys

Hello , my name's Eric Dannatt and I attended Aston Woodhouse from 1962 to 1966. Was at Catcliffe Junior School prior to this and would love to hear from any former pupils of either school !!!

hey up ray nice to know you are still with us they keep dissapearing at our age hope you are well i went out with chalkie white last week on his retirment do just a few old guys round rotherham are you still working and living up firth park still selling records for a few quid i go up to the bull and robin sometimes but never nobody out must be in their slippers watching corre i live in barnsley now and going to be a grandad in july might give me another lease of life nict to hear from you

HI again ron give my regards to chalky ( top man ) so you should be a grandad by now, i've been on for years, moved to chesterfield 16 year ago great place to live, love it, records & video's went years ago so we diversed into western (cowboy) products do motorhome shows & have an internet shop, (americanmagic.co.uk) it just about pays the bills, what are you doing these days, take care mate,regards RAY.

Struth! All these names from the past! I was Sue Lee - or tea leaf as I recall.
I knocked about with Miranda Yawa and Yvonne May. I remember you Ray Banks...not just from the Road Runner. Lovely fella. Nice to see you're a grandad.
I have four sons. No grandkids yet. Plenty of time.
I remember Mr Fiddler, I enjoyed his music lessons. Mr Smith for maths - he told me not to worry my head about maths. I should just learn to count so I could keep track of all the babies I was going to have. And bless him, he was right.
Yes, Miss Baston and Katie Blythe. And one teacher who used to throw chalk at us girls and the board rubber at the lads. He must not have heard about equality.

Yep I got my arse properly kicked for that party, fair to say it got right out of hand & when my parents returned from holiday the S--t really hit the fan! yep, ray died 1973-4 ish tragic accident. i knocked around with Paul curly back in the 60s & all the brinny lot -phil bratley- josh [jordan]- glyn ducker-mel pritchard- pete rhodes-glen carrington- steve & todd dale -Les smethust- Niel mark & Dave Hughes- the milner brothers-mick jordan-steve colly-graham beardsall-steve martin-pat norcliffe & ray, down the youth club & the local brinny dances.
