Which type of Tile Adhesive

I intend to put a row of tiles on the top some other tiles as a decorative border in the bathroom and would like any advice on the best type of suitable
adhesive.

BAL white star, ready mix for tile on tile,waterproof and used by pros and tilers.

Don't use the ready mixed stuff, expensive and no where near as good as the powdered. I tile every week and mix cementous tile adhesive.

BAL white and green star are for amateurs and DIY'ers, takes longer to dry as well.

BAL as a brand is good, its just the ready mixed stuff, over priced and not as good as the powdered

gotta agree with sam. ready mixed is water based.rubbish,takes ages to set.Slow set is ok for walls(cement based).I generally use benfer or norcros(both reasonably priced unlike mapei/bal)

Why would you want to put tile on tile in bathroom cant see how thats going to decorative . Water will always be trying to get down back of tile and what about sharp edges. Sounds like your missues idea to me get a grip of her . Dont you know they are always thinking of stupid things for you to do
