Im making a cake for a friend and im putting a silver badge on it, ive got some grey icing but dont know how to make it look shiny?

If you're wanting it to look silver, your best bet would probably be to find some edible silver leaf and cover the icing with that.

You may be able to find better help if you post this in the foodies section; there will probably be some professional and ameteur cake decorators in there.

You can get edible metallic sprays and lustre glazes - the cake decorating shop on the gallery level at the markets do them or you could look online
