Didn't watch it as was on route back from Exeter but listened to it on the radio on the coach and it sounded a cracking game or at least the second half did. Liverpool sounded highly unlucky in the end not the snatch the equaliser at least. Will hopefully be able to find the highlights somewhere and watch it at some point this evening.

Liverpool for a large part of the match content to play defensively with only Suarez up front.
Terry and the Brazilian Rodrigez were the best two.
Dalglish is too defensive a manager, have a go mate.

I think you mean Ramirez not Rodrigez,he wrote guitar music

It was over the line. Here's the proof.
No ref/linesman could have given it but goal line technology would have.

Ramires is the new Essien, if only the old Essien could also become the new Essien then Chelsea will be a lot stronger.

That is a long way from being proof, so try again.

from that pic its obvious it didn't go over the line, if it did then the ball must have been 3 quarters the size of what it should be.
The "whole" of the ball has to cross the line...

You cannot say it did nt cross the line,as the ball may have been even nearer in a subsequent frame. Also the posts were not vertical. It was clearly a goal, and once again football is seen to be a very primitive sport, especially when you consider its finance.Cricket, tennis and other sports have all devised ways to deal with such issues, but football is conservative and arrogant in its thinking.

The photo was taken from an angle. The posts appeared "not vertical" but that was because of the angle from which the photo was taken.
There is no way on earth that goal could have, or should have been given.
Unlike this one

I thought the YouTube bloke put up a good argument for it being over the line but you're right - he didn't draw the ball big enough. In all honesty I don't give a toss. Only one result mattered yesterday.
