maybe now-a-days it has to be like volcano heat temperature to snow? if its to cold to snow then it must be to wet to rain?

It's freezing outside! We decided to go to Barnsley today as we've never been there before and just looking outside it actually looked like a nice day... until we got outside and it was like ice hitting you!!

Yep. If it gets any colder I might have to start wearing long pants for my daily bike ride.

Because the coldest weather is often when a high pressure area is above the UK in winter. High pressure often means no cloud so no snow.

I don;t really see what you buggers are moaning at. I'm sat here in 30 degree heat having just finished an ice lolly.
I'm just wearing shorts, the doors and windows are all open and I have the largest fans on full.
There is quite a lot to be said for living in the tropics in a UK winter.

we have a water leak on our road i contacted severn trent who sent somebody to fix it but they failed to do it correctly
and this morning its a sheet of ice!
my outdoor thermometer reads this morning -2

Are you sure they weren't the "ASSESors""? That happened on our street - took far too long for them to come out and when they did they were just the "assessors" and then they didn't come out until about a week later to fix the water pouring down the street. Pity we can't charge them what they charge us.
