I'm sure all the crew on Most Haunted ham it up from time to time. Yes, they over-react to things they might have seen or heard, but that's what everyone would do in that situation (members of the public do the same on the live shows). It is an entertainment show after all.

Someone who actually claims to be a 'psychic medium' and can talk to the dead, but is then found out to be faking and using false, planted information, is completely different.

Derick gave us nothing new on that night and funny how he didn't have much to the guy who was dressed like Michael Jackson - thats coz he never spoke to him so couldn't get the info that he needed to start spilling out a load of rubbish.

Was priceless at the end though when he said he wanted to be with Catherine and the kids....least we can sleep at night knowing he's with his family

Was great entertainment though can't wait for the next one.

I never said they had it to begin with but once they were in the prison the entire idea was they had nothing for themselves and the general gave them reasons to like themselves and to... couldnt think of the right words to properly describe this

Also, you were comparing the movie to Gladiator which is a completely different movie. Gladiator was also about how he ended up in that situation and The Last Castle wasnt. The Last Castle was about the prisoners regaining their humanity.

Offcom call it an entertainment show, but Yvette said on terrestrial tv just a few weeks back that Offcom are wrong to decribe it as an entertainment programme as what the Most Haunted Team do was serous investigations.
Yvette also repeated this assertion just before her Live Halloween 7 day investigation began.

As for "everyone would react if put in the same situation", well that may be true but you have to remember that this isn't the first barbeque that they have attended
They have done hundreds of investigations in hundreds of places, each and everytime they have experienced something "paranormal" so how can they be so scared every time something touches them or they see something unusual, they must be very used to these phenomena by now that they wouldn't freak out.

I know it gets bloody ridiculous Cath and Yvette get on my nerves with their girly screaming and then saying oh no i want to go, I'm scared what a load of crap. But I can't help but watch it though its as though I like pulling it to pieces ....I am strange or as my mate says extremely wierd

Still love Derek, he's a hoot. However, those bran muffins rubbing MJs hat! Really hard to watch without squirming. Thought he'd throw a moonwalk in though.
