rumours going round that if we dont get the desired result on monday at barnsley then it might be blackwells last stand.
my question is, if he goes or even gets the sack after monday night, then what experienced, quality managers are there out of work at the moment that would come to utd with our wage limits etc ?

if we lose against barnsley blackwell is going-to ingoldmells in an 8 berth for a week to recharge his batteries, a good session in the anchor then off to bells amusements on the 2p waterfalls will work wonders for morale.

seriously though, blackwell aint going anywhere just yet, even if he does who's gonna take over? brown, coppel, speed, just depends on mr mcabes real ambitions for sheff utd.

Oh, how the self appointed mighty have fallen, I seem to recall, "Our chairman is a multi millionaire", "We are a Premiership team in waiting". You are now counting down the days of blackclock's demise, go on, tell us about your hotel, and how it will save you.

We know where we are, perhaps instead of the customery inane chants about Utd's percieved superiority, you lot ought to take stock and realise that you are in the exactly same mix as us.

Because he falls into your current style of play, infact he has a far better record of playing crap football than Blackclock.

No argument, we are crap, but how long will it take for you lot to realise that you are no different. If you manage to beat the dingles, will it make you promotion contenders?

Sheffield football is in freefall, we are the 4th/5th largest city in England, and we can't even field one Premiership side. I hate the way that both clubs are percieved, I can never forget a mouthy Southerner once telling me that Sheffield was only a small town in Lancashire.

Perhaps we should stop competing with each other, and start to kick arse nationwide.

.
Not really surprising as most southerners wouldn’t have a clue where Sheffield is.

You know where you are do you? Good for you crooksey, didn't your manager state on SSN at the start of the season that the play-offs were his target, many Wednesday fans agreed.

Our chairman is a multi-millionaire, he has said many times before he wants United to be self sufficient, the hotel you made a jibe about is helping us do this. I never believe we have a god given right to be in the Premier League, I can see how others get used to the high expectations, we been there or there abouts for the last 6 years.

I like to stay positive. I honestly believe both United & Wednesday will climb up the table eventually. Hope not hate crooksey

It hardly matters who manages the club if the board don't give him any money for players and sell off the better players at the first opportunity. A club with ambitions will find good players to replace the injured ones but old scrooge McCabe is more interested in building office blocks than football teams. He is looking at a possible windfall with the world cup so he will expand the ground to accomodate more fans but who will fill the seats before then is going to be a problem for a league 1 team.

No hate here my friend, just a realism that are both supporters of no hopers. What we both need is a manager that throws the history book away and reminds us that we are cowering in the shadow of the likes of Wigan.

You speak for yourself with the no hopers bit. The Blades are much more likely to get out of the bad run that we are in than you lot. Unless of course it makes you feel a little better to include us as well. All Sheffield arent we....? no thanks

Cloud cuckoo land must be a very comforting place to hide in, the blades have had 3 play off finals and a promotion to the Premiership, blowing all of them.

However, I agree that Utd have a better chance of mid table mediocrity than us, if that's your ambition, I wish you well with it.
