As you may know, we are fostering Rain Rescue's Cybil.

She seems to be settling in quite nicely.

We're going to be away most of the weekend of 21st and 22nd November, as it's my birthday and we've had plans for a few months now.

She can go back to kennels over the weekend, but if someone could have her Friday teatime until Monday morning, it'd save her having to go back.

She's got a crate which she's quite happy in. She slept right through last night and she is happy in it (she goes in of her own accord) in the living room.

I can drop her off and collect her, she's got food and everything she needs. She's fine walking, just not too far.

If anyone would like this lovely lady for the weekend, please get in touch.

I know you'd have had her in a shot seadog, but I know you've got your hands full with your own and the foster! She's apparantly not been too good with biggish dogs, but we met a few today and she was fine, perhaps it was in the kennel environment, whereas in the park she seemed fine.

Not sure how she'd be with four, thanks though!

I'd rather she didn't go into kennels, she's spending time in her crate recently as we need to get her used to it before she'll be left on Monday for a while. I think she'd be fine with another dog, if she's in her crate when not supervised she just sleeps, especially after a walk and a bowl of food! We're learning about her, she's only been here 24 hours and so far she hasn't put a foot wrong!

If nobody did come forward Haddock - who are the people on here who do house boarding? I can't remember their names, but know theyve always been highly recommended. Maybe they would have room for the weekend?

Damn my memory. But yes, would hate the little babe to have to go back into kennels - thanks Spottie - but I think she is a bit daunted if she gets too close to comfort to a larger dog - and I would hate anything to kick off at yours. I don't think it was the kennels, as it was whilst she was out and running free with a few of the little ones. The lovely rottie girl down there and their amerian bulldog bitch - both that have lovely natures and mix with everything - just tried to say 'hello' she was having none of it.

bless

I have 2 old dogs one is 16 and the other is 11 both are quietbut Albert is probably medium sized and my bitch is fairly small. No children and a quiet house she would be welcome here if we did some introductions first you could come over for a walk and we could see how they were together.

Sounds perfect if they get on!

We've met labradors and other biggish dogs today and she's not showed any interest whatsoever.

If you think you could manage her, it sounds ideal! Meeting up to see if they get on might be a good idea, whenever suits you!

Oh thanks Mummysaz, Spottie and Adz for your really kind offers. I think that if Adz can manage to look after her that would probably be best. It won't involve your little one Mummy which is always a problem with too many dogs, and obviously - Spottie would be great if Adz didn't work out maybe? Just reduces the pressure and Adz is much closer too. Which makes it easier.

Ok - looking good and thats so good about her out in the park
I think we need some homely pics being taken now Mr. Haddock???

Wow everyone, thank you for the lovely offers! It's much appreciated, we are going on a brewery tour Friday night, Birmingham Christmas Market Saturday, which is Andy's actual birthday and will be a very long day, and having a day out with Andy's parents on Sunday. Feel a bit bad but we've been planning it for months, and we are going to be out for so long bless her. She's so lovely, so very well behaved and has been totally fine with any other dog we've met on our walks! Still careful when we meet another dog though, obviously

Yes, will see you on Wednesday, forgot that!

Tried taking some photos last night and she wouldn't keep still!

Rain - When you said she can move quickly, you were right, that's the REAL Cybil, not a scared little shivering thing!!

Hopefully she's being good for LM today, but so far she's been an absolute angel, I was expecting a harder time!.......

I'm in lurve I met Cybil at The Harlequin and she is sooo gorgeous - the strangest little Staffie I've ever seen. And so talkative.

If wasn't for Zeb, I'd have had her for the weekend like a shot. But he's just too big (and clumsy) for the little lady - plus I don't know how he'd react to another dog in the house and he's just getting over me abandoning him when I was in hospital in June!!

Anybody looking for older dog, full of affection and with added cuteness, couldn't go wrong with her.

Unfortunately something has come up and she still needs somewhere to go for the weekend.....she's no trouble at all, sleeps all night, doesn't make a mess, doesn't destroy everything....she's lovely!

That'd be ideal, she doesn't need much, just feeding, walking and a bit of a fuss.

It'd just be from Friday teatime until Sunday morning if that is ok?

See what the OH says . Thanks!

I could have her at the shop Saturday if thats any help? I cant take her home or overnight as two of mine have kennel cough and I think three dogs and two cats will be a bit much for her anyway. I have two XXl Crates at the shop but she can have the whole of the back room to mooch in if need be .

Rain knows the set up at my shop.

Let me know if its a help anyway?

Oh thanks Loopy and Gemima - will wait and see if loopy could cope?
She is fine to be in her crate as long as you let her out for a pee. Don't trust her near your nice and furries - as we don't want any trouble and her halo isn't that good.

Thanks Gemima - ha - you could have her in the window as your logo????
Ok - will wait and see. If not, she can always come to mine and stay in her van - (have van will travel), it may be more comfy than being in a kennel -

anyone else have the perfect offer of 2 nights accommodation? We could pay for boarding in a home environment if someone can manage that?
