We have found a space in the eves above our bathroom (most of our attic is converted) that we can use for storage. At present you can see the tiles (and some daylight!) as it is an old fashioned roof with no felt. There are heaps of old insulation in the corner- looks dirty and dusty and not wrapped in plastic like the modern stuff. Is it OK to re-use this? Thinking of putting some mesh or plastic or board onto the wooden slats the tiles sit on and just stuffing the gaps between the wood slats. Presumably we need to put something against the tiles first to keep it dry? There is condensation on them so they feel damp. Would appreciate advice on what we should do and materials. Need to do it cheaply and easily if possible. Thanks
