Well I can't deny Jackson was talented in some respects....but he was never my cup of tea......as for Derek.....I don't particularly like him...but I am prepared to consider that he may have a limited amount of talent as a medium....although much of what he did was simply play-acting for the sake of the cameras!

I dont think you can have a limited amount of talent as a medium. You either ARE a medium or you are not.

I'd love to know how Derek ever made it onto TV. He'd have to pay me to go and watch him, although I bet it would be great comedy value. But on a serious note they really are exploiting unstable people (MJ fans).

Anyway MJ's not dead, it's all a hoax

According to Wikipedia his real name is Derek Johnson but he took his grandmothers name of Acorah (sounds more spooky) His first supernatural experience was as a child when he saw his late grandfather!! He then went to play for Liverpool FC reserves but never made the first team so decided to be a medium

Why wasn't his best buddy David Guest sat at the seance table with them? Michael might have asked David what he'd done to his hair! They should also have had Uri Geller there bending spoons for a bit of added entertainment.

if this is true I would have a little more respect for him. Just looking at his diamond earing, gold watch and flash rings makes me think he just likes the money!

I saw it last night, had to turn over as my cheeks couldn't stand it.

"I just can't believe that's his hat, I mean it's not behind glass or anything"

Genius

I watched it and was more entertained by the super fans who were around the table and their reactions, which ranged from the MJ impersonator who sat there like a statue to the blubbering mess of a man who was overcome with the emotion of it all, through to the permanently surprised girl who was so excited by it all.

It was also odd that Derek started saying MJ was strugging to get through and find the ability to communicate...but then launched into a very lengthy speech. He obviously adapted very quickly!

I have to say that I am very open minded and do believe there is some sort of life after death.HOWEVER...The programme was awful, and although I found it by turns, funny and embarassing, I thought it was irresponsible and dangerous of the programme makers not to have vetted the fans they chose for the seance.
The fans were already going to be in a heightened state, but the girl looked super hyper as though she was on meds, while the poor hapless lad who cried looked extremely vulnerable, I think the experience messed with their heads too much, and in a couple of cases I bet it has severely damaged them.
