In summary, there is a single circumstance where you can be prohibited from taking photographs.
You may be subject to search and the viewing of images (but not deleting or destroying) if the police have reasonable grounds to believe that you are a terrorist.

That's it. Go forth and take photographs, and make sure the media know about it if you are harassed by the police.

So if anybody comes up to you while taking photographs in a public place tell them
