How often are stamp duty thresholds reviewed?

Its changing from 175K to 150K at end of year- I think.

Threshholds were raised by the government as part of their attempt to stabilise the housing market.

As posted above, they are due to return to their original (lower) levels soon.

make sur that the area your buying in isnt stamp duty exempt,its not widely known that there are areas duty exempt upto a certain level

There is no fixed period after which they get reviewed, they just change whenever the Chancellor of the day decides they should change. I believe, prior to them being raised to £150,000, they had not changed in well over a decade.
