hi guys ,
can anyone me , the missus was putting her false nails on last night & got glue on the settee , anyone got any ideas to remove it ??

is it a leather settee? hairspray gets biro off leather settees so it might work on glue as well.

Try nail varnish remover with acetone (sp), Dont know if it will work but it got nail glue off my clothes!
Test it on a small patch where no one will ever see it though first incase it damages the material!

I'd go with the stanley knife blade - but use a new one for minimal damage

Stick the sofa in the freezer. Then it'll chip off no problem.

There is such a thing as nail glue remover- sold in Boots and the like. That might have a better chance of not damaging the sofa (and the cushion padding) than acetone.

If you're going to use either then I think you need to do a patch test on an inconspicuous bit of the sofa (like a bit that's against the wall) to make sure that it's not going to bleach or dissolve the sofa.
