Calling ALL DJ's - Best PC DJ Jukebox Software?

Recommended Posts

If you are wanting to beat match your tracks, then I would say Virtual DJ, however if you are wanting just to play tracks then I would suggest BPM Studio I've used it for years.

As for software not compatible in Visa i.e software which you may have had working in XP will work on vista however you would need to turn off user account control then install it you will find then that it will work, but if you use the same machine for internet i would suggest you turn the user account control back on, turning it off when you want to use your software, as for pcdj i find it uses alot of resources imo BPM Studio is far better

Does BPM Studio work on Vista?

No mention of vista below!

Operating Systems: Windows 95, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 98

Additional Requirements: Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP, 128MB RAM

As for compatibility issues using software on vista, i disabled user account as you suggested but it made no difference.

AV Mix Master still somes up with NET Framework JIT Debugger error.

Have a play with Ableton Live, I'm not saying it's the best as I haven't played with a lot of them & it's also a sequencer, but hell it's good fun if you just shove a load of techno in it & mess around.

Have to agree with this. Use Wavs in Ableton & hook it up to an external mixer, via a multichannel soundcard & you have one hell of a set-up and it's massively good for mash-ups & straight mixing.
