Do the Everley Brothers count as a duet? I know there are two of them, but they're one act.

For the purposes of this discussion, I've been thinking about individual artists who came together to record a duet, rather than acts which ordinarily consisted of two people; but both types are correctly called "duets." I don't know which type the OP had in mind when he started the thread.
