Best place to get "Film" developed?

Recommended Posts

Hi I am just wondering where the best place to get 35mm camera film developed in Sheffield? Last time I got it developed was in Tesco in the early 2000's.

& How much is it roughly ?

Would recommend Costco, but you should also try Harrisons.

Always used Boots and never had any complaint. What i like about their service is the open counter style, so you can actually speak to the technician if there's anything about any of the images you feel he needs to know beforehand, which was often the case with some of my night time shots.

The last time I had some done at asda it cost me £10 and some of the negs had been cut in half. Might have been just a one off but it put me off

Shame it is becoming more expensive as time goes on the less people do it.

I would be tempted ot have a look in Amateur Photographer - it is years since I read it but the ads in the back were full of stuff like this

Personally I use process paid Fuji, it looks like you can send them your films also:

http://photofilmprocessing.co.uk/35mmfilm.html

negs get cut in half when the machine processing them mis judges where the first full frame is, if you are concerned ask it to be processed without cutting and do it yourself
