Drinking in snooker

Recommended Posts

having just been watching the snooker, i was asked by my mum if there was a reason the players no longer drink alcohol while players.... does anyone know if this is due to an official rule or wether its down to them simplying wantin to be in the best condition to win?

Didn't he blame it on a nervous condition, he needed 20 pints of lager to steady his cuing arm.

I'm not sure but I remember watching him when I was young and he could put it away.

Everyone to there own, anyone who believes they have never done anything they shouldn't have are deluded.

Drinking, smoking, and betting is always going to be a part of snooker....

I wouldn't say 20 pints qualifies as a particularly large amount personally.

Have I said that "20 pints qualifies as a particularly large amount"?

Most people wouldn't be able to stand up after 20 pints of normal strength beer, it's a huge amount even if drunk throughout the day.
