2.3 (they were once featured in the NME)

Charles Hawtrey & The Deaf Aids

 

and from the late '60's/ early 70's the famous(ish) McCloskeys Apocalypse.

 

Some stalwarts of the pub scene a couple of years ago;

 

Slim & the Big Man

Johnny Seven

Y (got a CD of theirs somewhere).

 

ps if you do a forum search there has been a thread on Sheffield Punk Bands so that should give you a few more.

Dont forget my Band "2 Hats"

 

There is also "FC dog UK",

"Strange Sky Exit" and "From Within".

 

We have all played gigs in the last year at the Morrfoot Tavern.

I am including South Yorkshire plus Chesterfield bands in the list as the majority play regurlarly in the city.
