UrbanCaveman   10 #2 Posted January 14, 2008 it's not as good as it used to be preferred it chunkier and crispier!  We bought a jar last week so I don't think it has.
 Share this content via...

rubydazzler   11 #8 Posted January 15, 2008 I have a sneaking feeling that the Cunninghams brand was bought out by a Liverpool based firm and all they use now is the name, the product is not half as nice. It used be all chunky and taste almost like home made when it was made on Queens Road, now it's just bland, just not the same somehow.  If anyone has a jar to hand, have a look on the label and see where it's made nowadays? yorkie75   10 #9 Posted January 15, 2008 It has to be Cunninghams Picalilli and Hendersons Relish, nowt else will do  I agree, I have 6 jars of each in my cupboard and I live over 300 mile away, can only get it when I visit, the people at Morrison's look at me gone out when I go to the checkout with a basket full of picalilli and relish
 Share this content via...

surfinjim   10 #12 Posted January 15, 2008 Cunninghams and Henderson's both made in ........Oldham!  Its the truth!   NO don't believe you:confused: Hendersons made else where:  Used to say "made in Sheffield" on the bottles. Not anymore.....   Check it out. Cunninghams and Hendersons were bought out by the same company a couple of years ago, based in Oldham (I believe) and production was carried out at both sites with it gradually moving away from Sheffield.  I hope its not true, but thats the story from a very reliable source, who's in the pickle trade.    Jim
 Share this content via...
