Wife said same to me other day, she went past it yesterday & says there's an awful lot of glass in it for one building.

It's meant to save money apparently, by being 'naturally lit'.

Is the old meat and fish market going here too?

Yes ................. In 4 week's time.

Not enough I'd say - there's barely any on it, bit disappointing really. I thought the winter-gardens-esque entrance hall from the moor would be all glass but actually there's just a couple of windows and the rest is covered.

Apparently? Less lights needed, less electric used, surely?

I like how you put naturally lit in commas, as if it's some kind of awful new fangled thing!

Anyone any idea where the stall that sells trainers down the moor has gone?

Iceland is opening on 25th November, so I think it's a fair bet that will be the opening date for the market.

I would guess B&K will be looking at handing the building over to SCC some time next week, because the market traders will probably need a week or two to get set-up.

I'm looking forward to having a look at the real ale stall that's going to be down there.

Regards

Doom

The countdown-to-the-move sign in the castle market today said "20 days" to the move.
