This generally means that prospective employers want to see if your handwriting is legible.  If you want to demonstrate flashy typewriting/IT skills, send them your printed CV. Bloomdido   10 #14 Posted January 24, 2006 I reiterate, 'Apply in writing' does not mean 'Please enclose CV'.  'Please send your CV with a covering letter' means they want your CV.  In this instance a hand-written (or part hand-written) letter detailing skills, attitude and experience relevant to the job being applied for is what is required.
