jojo23 Â Â 10 #1 Posted June 7, 2011 Is it possible to speak to someone at DVLA rather than a recorded message? The automated system doesn't answer my very complicated query
 Share this content via...

SpecialPG Â Â 10 #3 Posted June 7, 2011 why dont you goto the DVLA office in sheffield, its just off ecclessall road turn right just before the vauxhaul dealership and take your second right and its on your left handside, it has its own carpark so you should be ok. MC Spyda   10 #7 Posted June 7, 2011 I spoke to someone the other day. I can't remember what buttons I pressed though, sorry.  Maybe if you just don't press anything, it will redirect you to an operator.
 Share this content via...

<Aim 4> Â Â 10 #9 Posted June 7, 2011 Shame on companies with these automated voice recordings, As far as I am concerned that counts as ZERO customer service. Â Companies used to have offices in town or somewhere that you could actually go to, and speak to someone at the desk. Â I used to insure my car through Swiftcover; Try finding their contact telephone number through their website...It isn't easy. Gormenghast   59 #10 Posted June 7, 2011 I've been trying to get through to HMRC all day. I've decided to write...  I tried about a month ago, and got 20 minutes of crap music after 6 'choose this option for' menus, and was eventually allowed to speak to a human who sounded quite normal.  Is there some sort of business tie-up here with the phone companies?  You hang on for 20 minutes and the phone company charges you, and the organisation doesn't need so many people to answer the phones as you're listening to music, not talking to them?
